  • Waitangi Treaty Grounds achieved the highest score ever awarded in its sector in the rigorous national Qualmark assessment. Criteria include an ongoing positive contribution to the environment.
  • The Treaty Grounds also received a special Northland Sustainable Development Business Excellence Award and has won the Westpac Tourism and Hospitality Award.
  • The estate was awarded “Garden of National Significance” by the New Zealand Garden Trust.
  • Waikokopu Café on the Treaty Grounds is a frequent winner of the New Zealand Beef & Lamb Award for its informal, excellent cuisine.
