Waitangi Treaty Grounds is where, in 1840, two peoples forged a relationship that has grown into nationhood. Now this historic place of partnership can be an auspicious inspiring venue for your special day.

Our choice of settings is almost unlimited: magnificent lawns with sweeping vistas of the Bay of Islands, cherished historic buildings, native bush, or Gardens of National Significance.

 

Anniversaries, recommitments, civil unions and renewal of vows ceremonies are all made more memorable when Waitangi sets the scene. Charges are for venue hire only. Select any of these venues for photography only and pay just $250. Facilities are charged additionally, as shown.

Our experienced wedding team can take care of all your needs. We are the venue specialists, fully equipped to assist with marriage celebrant, civil union celebrant, hairstylist, florist, photographer, food and beverage services, music and cultural performance.

 

Weddings are available 7 days a week from 9:00am to 7:00pm for the summer season, and 9am to 5pm during the off-season.

In addition to the perfect venue, we can assist with other hire facilities. We can even help with a fully-costumed colonial occasion. Please discuss your individual requirements so that we can create a plan especially for you.
