Education

The Waitangi National Trust offers Treaty of Waitangi workshops and an LEOTC education programme to suit the needs of those wishing to learn about the bicultural beginnings of our nation as a positive and rewarding experience.

“As we become more confident in embracing the diversity which makes us unique, Waitangi will be the waka in which we make our journey together” Dame Silvia Cartwright

Workshops for Adult Groups and Corporate Clients

During this one-day workshop you will actively learn about the Treaty of Waitangi, looking at why it was signed and at the personalities who were key players. It uses accurate research to transport the attendees back to 6 February 1840, and it does that on the actual site of the first signing.
